Fifteen WightRATs turned out for our run up to the Ace Cafe for what promised and turned out to be a great day. Stopping off at Rafferty-Newmans provided an opportunity to meet fellow RATs and join up with their ride under the friendly leadership of Ian and Shiela Bull. They lead us on a delightful route up the A32 and A331 to London and despite the large number of bikes managed to get through the hurdles of London to reach the Ace Cafe in one piece. Thousands of bikes at the Cafe and all the way down both sides of the road awaited us and provided plenty to look at whilst chatting away to acquantances old and new. A sticky return through London was later blown away with a quick blast down the A3 and as we neared the ferry it was every man for himself ! - before we return to our 'quaint' Island roads again.
