At the very respectable (20+ bikes + pillions)initial gathering I expectantly asked our enthusiastic club members 'so who's up for having a go at the lay-off system eh ?'. No doubt after after our last vibrant pack meeting I would no doubt get a fair portion of volunteers - alas I was met with a deafening silence! Ah well - all in good time. The weather was rather misty but the roads were lovely as we made lively progress up Clatterford Road to Brighstone and sprinted along the Military Road to Niton for a quick pit-stop (ice-cream/tea) at Blackgang - and the sun even came out. As usual it was biker heaven as we resumed off to Whitwell, up to Rookley, Blackwater, Downend and finished up at the Folly for coffee. I got the impression members are becoming itchy for a mainland jaunt and to pop by 3-Cross Triumph - yes that'd be nice - I'll be in touch and look forward to the next run.
